Adam Hall STRS12U Rack Stand 12U

Complete absence of quality control. Mounting holes have no threads. Broke three out of four screws. The last one got stuck, head mutilated, had to be drilled out.

The whole thing feels rickety and is misconstructed; the top mounting bar is blocking the top unit space, rendering it a 11U rack, not 12U as advertised.

Come on Thomann, you should be better than this!

I bought two of these rack stands new (and not as B-stock). One turned up rusty and had clearly been assembled previously, the other did not have all of its holes drilled correctly and could not be assembled. Unfortunately, as I was travelling when they were delivered, I missed the returns period and instead got lumbered with a pile of useless metal.
I would not recommend this rack stand at all as the quality control on this product is clearly non-existent.
