I bought these units to fill in the extra spaces of a Live 40 rack I bought. My intention was to buy the rack I would need when all was said and done then fill it as I was able. These units are strong sleek and ready to work. I looked them over very well but found no fault with them. In addition to acting as space savers they are giving the rack strucural support. The finish is well done ans looks to be able to withstand the riggors of the road. I have many years on the road and have seen many victoms of its abuse. These panels are built to be survivors.

Ridiculously Good Product

This rack panel is the best rack panel I have ever seen. Being 1u, it fits seamlessly into a 1u rack space and on top of that, it completely blanks out the 1u space that was present before I installed it. Amazing. :-)

Does exactly what is should - fills the blank spaces in rack. Also you can use it for DIY, for example, cut out hole and put voltmeter in it, it is quite sturdy. Color is nice textured matte black, solid construction from steel. Excellent quality. No cons at all. I highly recommend this one to anyone who needs one.

This thing is amazing. I know it's just a sheet of steel with screwholes, but having experienced other budget-friendly rack playes: flimsy, thin, odd finish/paintjob - this is anything but. I can't imagine this one bends, dents, scratches up, or gets easily damaged in any other way. You whack someone over the head with this and you'll be serving time, that's how sturdy and durable this thing feels. In other words: it's built to last.

It'll work well as a cheap placeholder for future gear, sure, but these are good enough to keep around as permanent spacers. I really appreciate the finish not being a glossy, nasty-looking fingerprint-magnet. Slap a sticker on it, or heck; paint a skull, a spider, and some flames on it if the appearance bores you. Me, I'm perfectly happy with it just the way it is. Non-descript, inconspicuos, discrete, just reliably doing what it is supposed to do.
In the future I'll definetly be reaching for more Adam Hall products and hardware whenever the need arrives.

Needless to say, I am very pleased with this!
