Works very well with Roland GO Piano
I connected the micro-usb connection of the Roland GO Piano to this little box, and this onlocked a lot of new features.
Using the MIDI Out at this box the Go Piano can be used as a master keyboard to control other instruments.
When connecting a MIDI Controller (like the Roland A49) to the
MIDI In at this box, you can activate the hidden GM2-bank in the Go Piano, which gives you 128 additional sounds (!) to select through MIDI Program Change commands and then can be played on the piano keyboard.
By sending MIDI Control Change commands (like Resonance, Cutoff-filter, Modulation, etc.) it's possible to alter the sounds of the Go Piano, which leads to whole new sounds!

A special tools for specific use.
I have a 25keys midi keyboard, which have usb port only.I also have an arranger module "Roland BK7m".Only midi port in bk7m transport midi signal. There is no way to connect these two devices without computer arrangement software routing.I seek it in Thomann, which meets me demant.
It have an LED in USB port, which can indicate the status of USB midi connection, which are very useful. When you set correct midi channel, you can use your midi keyboard to trigger the module connected to the midi port.
The built-quality is good.It can also be powered by powerbank, which are very practical on the road.

It does the thing.
Needed a way to use my USB-only MIDI keyboard without a PC. This MIDI host device does the trick. It's a bit pricey, but I think the build quality makes up for that.
The power is supplied via a mini-USB connector, and the supplied charger has all kinds of power outlet adapters.
Supposedly one can connect it with multiple USB midi devices by using a USB hub. It can also do some basic merging. Haven't tested either of these features yet.

Exceeded the expectations
It works rather well. the three modes (standard, merge 1 and merge 2) are very handy.
one inconvenience is the place where the power supply is connected: at the rear of the equipment. all the other 3 cables are connected in front of, and makes it hard to fit in pedal board without occupying a lot of unnecessary space. Apart from that, all good.

Does what it says, and does it well
The headline says it all. A solid box, that just works. One small thing, the power connector is a micro USB and I wish it was something a bit more sturdy.

To MIDI foot control your Zoom Multistomp
I ordered ths little box to test if it would bring my MS-50G to life and react to midi commands via the usb connector,
It does!
I now can control the MS-50G via MIDI with my MIDI foot controller.
Now the MS-50G is the smallest Multi-effects unit in the Market.

Expensive, but …
… it works out of the box. After struggling with a second-hand Cerebel USB unit (and failing), I bit the bullet and bought this. And it worked perfectly.
I'd give it five stars, but it just seems expensive for what it is.
