Very smooth feel and pianolike sound
I love these strings on all my guitars that aren't being used for heavy rock sounds. Much lower tension and slightly lower output then modern hex-core strings. I feel like everyone should try these at least once.

Wow
One of the best, if not THE best, strings I've used with my Les Paul. You can't beat nickel strings for both tone and attack. Will definitely purchase more in the near future!

Pyramid Nickel Classic Special 011-048- nice !
These are worth trying . I was a lifetime Ernie Ball user but now these are better . The wound strings might lose some definition and twang in comparison to EB so you must adjust a little . These last a VERY long time and even 6 gigs later and playing time at home and they are still enjoyable ( but a bit dead as you can guess ) . Try that with other strings .... ! Even when they are dead they are still fun .
the other part is the sustain is really good and also string bending is easy . Its a very classic "old " sound with best tuning also.
The intonation was a bit unusual on the D , A and E but over 3 string set change the intonation is consistent.
I use these on a Gibson 335 and will try them on my strats . I must recommend these as they are a very good string and you might like them . It is very nice to find such a good string at a good price but they do might need a little change in your setup but it is worth it ,

Excellent strings for vintage tone
I've been searching for my kind of strings for about two years. Some sounded too harsh with my setup (vintage strat through the Vox AC4C1), some didn't last as long as I'd wish them to.
Pros:
- Nice vintage feel, pure nickel strings are softer, so if you're a 10s player, check out the 11s
- They last for eternity. Lack of the high frequencies doesn't hit you as hard as with the pure steel ones.
Cons:
- On the pricey side of the spectrum
- Not as bright right out of the box

Great for a Gibson...
These Pyramid Nickel Classic Special are an excellent choice of string for 24.5 scale length guitars. Being 11-48's, they have a really nice strength to them that helps keep tuning solid, yet they still feel great for bending. Also they intonate very well and last a long time too. Excellent value for money.

Strings do matter! ...to some of us...
These strings have two main advantages: Tone and longevity, which in my opinion make them very similar to some Snake Oil strings I used to have a couple of years ago.
They stay fresh longer than most other strings to the degree that I leave them on the guitar up to several times longer. Both the tone and the tactile feeling stay pretty much the same for up to a few months, even with daily usage.
When they are new, they add some sort of roundness to the tone (I have used them on a Les Paul). This is NOT the same as the dull, lifeless tone regular strings develop when get old, greasy and oxidized, but more of a vintage-like tone, preserving top-end sparkle.
The price of these strings is actually surprisingly low when compared to regular strings, considering their long life.

Excellent Strings
These are the best strings I have used
Pros - best in terms of sound a rounded yet clear balanced tone. They sound great and remain sounding great for months. They feel slinky and have good bendability.
Cons - nothing really perhaps a little more expensive but German quality.
Ordering was quick and easy with stock available and prompt delivery to the UK
