Pickup upgrades are not like other parts. You might buy an expensive set of pickups and not like them. I have to admit that I was very used to the sound of my Yosemite pickups, so it felt a bit strange initially. But for my taste, this set sounds great. I had to work on my presets all over again, but it was worth it. On a minor issue, the package was damaged along the way, and the original box was broken. But the pickups were fine. I haven't asked for a refund or anything about this but Thomann is usually quick to help in such cases.

superb pick ups
Bought these to replace standard Yosemite pickups on a USA performer. The difference has been outstanding.
The neck pickup - a 54 is the star of the bunch, the mid 63 is incredibly good and the punchy bridge pickup complements the other two. Worth the money and the sound of the performer has been transformed to an Elite.

Great upgrade choice
Upgraded my old Squire Standard Strat with Fender EJ pickup set, together with Obsidian Wire Traditional Vintage Plus electronic. A great match, ever so easy to install. Love the hotter bridge pickup. It cuts through the band mix with ease and substance. Especially love the reverse wound middle pickup; far less noise from a Strat. Great improvement in the sound and a new life for my guitar...
