Great for slapping! Not so much for tuning down
I bought these with the intent of trying new strings, to know which fit me the best. I have been using them for a couple of months now, and I have started to notice it's strengths and weaknesses.
Pros:
* Great for slapping/popping with ease.
* Are very easy to play with, especially if you wanna play quickly.
Cons:
* Not suitable for tuning down. Even going just a half step down, they feel like spaghetti. Drop D works fine, but is still not recommended
*Has below average tuning stability.
In conclusion: If you do a lot of quick playing (a la Jaco Pastorius) or do a lot of slapping stuff in standard E tuning, these are great, and you should consider them. If you like to tune down your bass to alternative tunings (drop D, Eb standard), get standards or thicker instead, as these wont be worth your buck.

Nice sound, mediocre longevity
The strings sound nice; warm and lush, with a bit of a rolled-off high frequency range. Unfortunately, they lasted a bit shorted than I expect of strings in this price range. This goes especially for the E-string, which started sounding dull just after a few hours. Still, some may like the sound so much they would be willing to overlook the longevity issue.

my main bass stings
After I tried during the last years a lot of different bass strings I made best experiences with the Ernie Bass Super Slinky. I never had a dead string in a set. The sound has a clear character with a lot of rumbeling mids and high. I use one set normaly 3 - 5 weeks.
