one with everything :-)

This is a big lunk of a desk, with everything inside. Obviously, you're not going to fit a huge console on there, but the keyboard shelf is a dream if you're like me, doing a bit of everything, and mostly by yourself. It's all there and it's damn solid. I'd recommend getting the extra rack space from the same series, though, because 12U is easily filled.

-1 from features because I've had to add cable grommets myself to pass cables from my production controller and various bits on the main surface, I'd loose 1 or 2U of front rack space to pass them otherwise. $8 worth of cable grommets would have bene nice in a desk of this price.

-1 for quality, because the heat-glued edge coverings have probably been overstretched at manufacture and are starting to unglue at inner corners. This looks stupid, but nothing that can't be fixed with some careful ironing.

In terms of assembly this piece of furniture was a breeze to put together. It's very like IKEA flat pack furniture and the instructions were mostly clear. The only criticism I have is the eccentric fasteners are brittle and about 5% of the time they don't always engage with the screw in pin and they will break if you're not careful. Also the Pins can bend sometimes. If you're assembling this desk in a low ceiling room then beware, you will struggle to orientate it when fully assembled. One other thing to point out is the backs of my 19" rack units are deep and some cable connectors are a bit close to the rear panels so if the design was to change by another 50mm rearwards, this would help. Also, my 003 audio interface from Avid does not mount successfully due to the pan head machine screws being to wide so there is a packaging interference. I shall have to obtain some smaller ones of build up with several washers to enable fitment. Zaor could do with supplying some smaller head fixings for this issue. The desk is sturdy/strong but weighs a lot so be prepared to have a rolling jack from your delivery guy. Looks great and I'm 98% happy with it so all in all a big success, not perfect but then what is?!!!

Si il devait y avoir un ou deux légers points faibles à ce produit, ce serait sûrement les légères traces de colle débordantes de certaines jointures (mais retirable très aisément à la main), et son poids, qui est vraiment un handicape pour déplacer le produits du camion de livraison jusqu'à l'intérieur de votre demeure (prévoyez un diable ou 2 personnes minimum). Ah si une dernière chose à laquelle je n'avais pas pensé en faisant mon achat, c'est "tiroir" tirable pour mettre le clavier limite le réglage en hauteur de votre fauteuil. Ainsi, vous vous retrouvez avec un "plan de travail" un peu haut à mon goût (mais c'est une question d'habitude).

Hors mi cela, rien à redire. Très beau, très impressionnant, et très pratique ! Vous pouvez y poser facilement un écran 27 pouces (ou deux 21,5), une paire d'enceinte, 12 U Rack, un clavier de contrôle, tout en gardant vos plans de travails complètement vide ! De plus, plusieurs autres espaces disponible dans le meuble vous permettront de stocker une unité centrale, quelques petits cartons de matériel ou deux ou trois bricoles.

Le montage est on ne peux plus simple (plus simple encore que chez IKEA) avec 2 visses différentes seulement, mais là encore, prévoyez d'être 2 minimum !

Je l'utilise en home studio (en appartement) et j'en suis très satisfait. Très pratique et très agréable, c'est un investissement que je recommande !

2.000 Euro für einen Studiotisch? Ich hab lange mit mir gerungen, aber nachdem ich mein Studio komplett neu aufbaue, hab ich dann auch beim Tisch nicht sparen wollen.

Ist er es wert?

Für mich ja. Meine Ansprüche an den Studiotisch sind: Ausreichend Platz für Tastatur, Maus, Monitorcontroller, DAW-Controller, Keyboard-Auszug, Abstellfläche für einen großen Monitor. Das alles bietet der Miza X2 Flex. Andere Tische bieten das aber auch. Beim Miza X2 Flex hat mich aber die integrierte Möglichkeit zum Aufstellen der Monitore sowie die integrierten Racks überzeugt. Ergonomisch und aufgeräumt.

Der Tisch kommt in drei großen Paketen, die auf einer Palette angeliefert werden. Das Gesamtgewicht liegt deutlich über 100 Kg. Die drei Pakete sind jedes für sich zu schwer und zu unhandlich, um sie alleine zu tragen. Für den Aufbau benötigt man aber sowieso eine zweite Person - das sollte man einplanen. Die Qualität geht größtenteils in Ordnung. Die Bauteile sind von guter Qualität, mein Exemplar hat einen Kratzer auf der Keyboard-Ablage, wenn das keyboard dann mal draufsteht, sieht man den aber nicht mehr. Ansonsten ist der Tisch einwandfrei. Die Metallverbinder (Stehbolzen, die in das zu verbindende Teil hineinragen und mit einer konischen Schraube gesichert werden) sind sehr solide und deutlich wertiger, als man sie zum Beispiel von Ikea kennt...

Die mitgelieferten Pads zum Abstellen der Boxen von IsoAcousics sind ebenfalls mehr als nur eine Zugabe und machen einen tollen Job.
