Yamaha make exceptionally good mouthpieces and the 17C4 is no different. The GP model produces a slightly darker sound than it's standard model counterpart.

It has a very centered feel to the sound but due to the #27 throat and fairly narrow backbore it may not be as free blowing as some players desire. Manufacture quality as you would expect is first class. Size is similar to Bach 1C.
