Excellent Value Neck Pickup

The Tesla Plasma-1 Neck BK is a very solid and musical single-coil pickup for the neck position.

It delivers a warm and smooth tone with good clarity, making it ideal for clean sounds, blues, and mellow leads. The low end is present but not muddy, and the highs stay soft and pleasant without becoming harsh.

In combination with the bridge pickup, it blends very well and helps create that classic strat-style versatility across all positions. The output is well balanced, so it doesn’t feel weak or overly dominant in any setup.

Build quality is excellent for the price, and installation was straightforward with no issues. Once installed, it performs quietly and consistently.

Overall, a great neck pickup that offers warm tones, good definition, and excellent value for money.

I really love Tesla pickups and I hope Thomann will continue to offer them and maybe even expand the Tesla range in the future.
