The best E bass drum I have ever played

Bought this kick drum converter along with acoustic bass drum from Thomann for my Roland TD12 E drum kit. I have liked my kit BUT the bass drum. I have never got my feet used to mesh feedback. Got this summer to the point of that something must be done, and after while of investigations, either to buy bigger mesh bass drum or something else, I found this converter kit. I was sold immediately. Got it today and my legs felt being home after years of trying to resync. Installed this kit on Millenium bass drum and had small pillow installed into the bass. installation was fluent and no need to do any modifications on TD12 brains unit. No ghost hits. One hint. for dual bass pedals, fine tune the trigger pad in right place before putting all together. Mine is bit aligned to left side.

This is bit louder than my old mesh. It sounds tasteful muddy splash on trigger pad. Not irritating at all to me.

If you feel like having issues with re syncin your legs with E bass drums, I would say that this is the closest you can get to the feeling of real acoustic bass drums ever.

Ich habe mir den KD-A22 Kick Drum Converter vor kurzem zugelegt. Er wurde an bzw. in eine Millenium 22"x16" MX500 Bass Drum montiert.
"Befeuert" wird er von einem TD 30 Soundmodul, ebenfalls von Roland.
Ich kann sagen, dass der Kick Drum Converter zum einen ein super Spielgefühl mit einem sehr guten Rebound (auch beim Spielen mit Doppelpedal) verleiht. Der KD-A22 wird mit der Triggereinstellung der KD 140 Bassdrum gespielt (Einstellungsparameter werden in der Beschreibung mitgeliefert, was ein "plus" bedeudet). Das Triggering ist sehr präzise und akurat.
Er ist kinderleicht zu montieren und die Optik einer 22" Bassdrum in ein E-Drumensemble integriert spricht meiner Meinung nach für sich. Interessant ist er natürlich für diejenigen, die schon ein Akustikset mit einer 22" Bassdrum besitzen und umsteigen wollen. Zum anderen kann für relativ wenig Geld eine super funktionierende Bassdrum kreiert werden.
Also Dauem hoch für das Teil und natürlich für den immer wieder hervorragenden Service von Thomann.

J'ai transformé une batterie acoustique en électronique grâce à ce kit. Je suis très satisfait du résultat. Je trouve cela plus agréable à jouer que le pad de GC de ma Roland TD-20 et n'ai aucune perte de réactivité. Je regrette juste que la zone de captation soit petite ce qui rend l'usage d'une double pédale pas hyper facile même si cela fonctionne parfaitement au final. Au final, un GC acoustique ainsi équipée n'est pas plus bruyante qu'un pad électronique standard
