High quality component with a little hiccup out of the box

The switch itself seems like very high quality. It replaced the rotary 5-way selector of a PRS Custom 22. No problems after few months of use. However, out of the box the switch didn't want to stay on either the bridge or neck position - it always clicked to the middle position on its own. This was solved with some twisting and bending. Something I wound't want to do to an expensive component such as this. No brutal amounts of force was needed, but it was still an uncomfortable ordeal. However, after this the switch has served very well. I'd assume that the problem I had is very rare. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

J'ai acheté ce switch dans le but de remplacer le 5 position rotatif de chez PRS lors de mon changement de micros.
Cela fait plusieurs mois que je l'utilise et je n'ai eu aucun problème, c'est du solide.
Il est fourni avec un embout noir et l'autre crème, et deux anneaux l'un doré et l'autre chrome.
Je le recommande !

Interessten: schaut euch die Bilder genau an!
Ich habe mir extra noch Pin-Kappen dazugekauft, weil ich die in schwarz wollte und in der Beschreibung nur "creme" stand.
Der Switch wird mit zwe Kappen (creme und schwarz( geliefert!
Zur Verarbeitungsqualität lässt sich sagen, dass diese top ist. Lediglicht finde ich die länge des Schafts, in dem der Schalter sitzt, sehr kurz. Passt wahrscheinlich in die PRS, aber wenn man das Teil für einen Eigenbau benutzt muss man die Decke ziemlich dünn arbeiten an der Stelle. Eine technische Zeichnung wäre hier als Produktinformation sehr hilfreich!

... Super Qualität, den hohen Preis für das Ersatzteil kann ich allerdings schwer nachvollziehen.

Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.
