One Amazing Amp

I got the smaller model first, then thought go for it get the 450. Then I got the extension cab. When they say hi-fi quality sound, it's bang on. Rich and deep all from those tiny drivers. I've watched the story on the evolution of Phil Jones and his philosophy on small drivers. He was making and selling 1 million pound home speaker systems for Japanese elite. Then he began a project in China, a huge factory with research and the largest echo chamber on the planet. He is a real genius, from sound systems and reggae bands in Cardiff, to the maker of one of the real stand out items in modern bass amps. A very fluid market with many changes, class A/B and the talk of the end of amps. I'll always want to immerse myself in quality bass sound I get from my PJB 450

5 Sterne, da sowohl für E-Bass wie Kontrabass bestens geeignet,
für die Größe erstaunliche und für mich ausreichende Power,
glasklarer Sound, der ohne Gewummere auch 20 Meter entfernt gut zu orten ist.
Tadellose Verarbeitung
Bei den Features "nur" 4 Sterne : eigentlich für mich auch sehr positiv, da keinerlei Schnickschnack, sondern bestens regel- und steuerbare Elektronik, aufrüstbar bei Bedarf durch ext. Speaker, etc. aber:
wozu diese in praxi nur nervige Automutefunktion, die den Einsatz als Bühnenmonitor einschränkt? Die per DI angesteuerte Bühnenanlage kriegt hässliche Knackimpulse beim Hochfahren. Ob dieser Gimmick, eine komplizierte zusätzliche Steuerungselektronik angeblich im Dienste der Umwelt/EU-konformität irgendwann mal streikt, den Amp dann nach der Spielpause gar nicht mehr hochfährt oder ungewollt im Spiel abregelt??? Hoffentlich nicht.
