Not suitable for my new violin

I have played with these several weeks and countless of hours. Sound stays really bright and metallic. Changed strings to different brand and got instantly warmer tone. Not for my violin, maybe for older instruments.

Edit: I installed these to 100 year old german violin and it came alive. It had pirasto tonicas before and sound was always so weak that i never played with it. Now sound is big, warm, resonant and loud! Amazing what a pack of strings can do.

If you have bright sounding newer violin, buy some warmer strings.

Perfect for who loves powerful sound. It really gives to the instrument a dB upgrade. The tone is great, as well. G, D and A are perfectly balanced in any range, between the three strings. E string is also good, but in my opinion, I prefer to match with Pirastro Gold. It became one of my favorite strings set in my instrument (if not my fav).

In orchestral performance, just have to relax a bit more to not overpass the section. The only not so good feature, is that it takes time to stabilize when the strings are new, or the weather is too hot and dry. So if you have an important performance, change it at least 1 week before.

Normal strings

Unfortunately A and D strings didn't live long. After month of playing this two strings broke. However sound of this strings is good, so may be i was unlucky and thomann sent to me an old strings.
