Good set of vintage tuners for a good price

I bought these for a partscaster build.

Pros:
- hold tuning almost perfectly
- look good
- the top-loading system (you put the string in from the top of the
tuner post) makes it very easy to change strings. No need to wrap
the string around the post, you can just turn the tuner and the string will wrap itself around the post 3-6 turns, which is just enough.
- The price. No need to go for 50-100¤ tuners.

Cons:
- You might need to drill new holes into your guitar headstock if you get these (but it'll be worth it)

Great quality at a fair price

These tuners are probably the best set of tuners you can get in this price range. They are very smooth to operate and stays in tune perfectly! A lot of peolpe think tuners does not matter that much and that a pair of chinese tuners will work as good as a set of expensive tuners. That is not the case. You can´t expect to be in tune on stage if you are playing a set of tuners that cost 7 dollars, that´s just impossible. If you are thinking about getting a pare of vintage style 6-in line tuners you can never go wrong with these ones!

Old ways are the best

When used right these are as good as locking tuners! I replace all tuners on my fenders with these! And no danglie bits to cut off later :o)

Upgraded Tuners - Squire Project

Updated the machine heads on my Squire Strat.
Does what is says on the box really.
Combined this with a Tusq Nut, the guitar is still in tune!
