I use this as my main crash on my main gigging kit - currently paired with a 19" Byzance EDTC. This is a wonderful hybrid between a crash and ride without sound like a crashride, more like it being capable of being either one depending on how you play it.
The uneven shape gives it trashiness, and the thickness of this cymbal tapers down from the bell through the bow towards the edge which gives it a wide dynamic range. Playing on the edge will make this thing open up very quickly and give a nice pleasant wash and shimmer, while the body has greater stick definition, and the bell is present and defined (much more than a 22" agop signature ride for example).
I'd say this thing is an acquired taste, has a very distinct sound, and for a 20" cymbal it is quite high in pitch. But if it is what you are looking for you wont find it anywhere else. Brilliant pie, very versatile, and never leaving my cymbal bag!
