Very comfortable, nice little guitar

It's a well-built, affordable, and good-sounding guitar for its size. Thanks to the 3/4 body and narrower fretboard, it's very comfortable to play, especially for folks with smaller hands. I changed the factory strings to a higher-quality set for an even better sound.

The product I received has a clean finish with very minimal blemishes. The built-in tuner is handy and works well. The tuning system feels stable and does its job quite well.

I also read in another comment that someone had some problems with intonation -- mine has really good intonation, no problems there at all!

I can only recommend!

A very Versatile guitar

A very versatile guitar, it is great for smaller hands, it has a truss rod so you can get a great action setting. I put Saverez Cristal Corum’s which are clearer & tonally superior than the Ibanez strings that are factory fitted. However my biggest problem with this guitar was the intonation. I had to make a fairly over-compensated saddle to really have this splendid little guitar to be properly in tune up the fretboard, if I hadn’t done this, I would have found the guitar unsatisfying & frustrating to play. It makes a massive difference to have as near to perfect tuning on a nylon guitar. So overall it’s a wonderful guitar, a nice thin body that’s very comfortable to hold & a lovely piezo pickup with useful preamp. Amazing value for money 🙂

Lovely little guitar

I need a short scale cutaway classical guitar with built in electronics and this is it.
The thin body is comfortable to hold, the sound is of course not quite as full and resonant as a full size guitar but it is actually very good and a pleasant surprise.
The guitar looks lovely and the finish is excellent.
If this guitar hadn't been as good as it is my next step would have been to have one built at £4-5 K.. saved a bit for now then.

Depuis longtemps je possède une guitare classique normale mais je ne la touche pas, par ce que j'ai de petites mains. Et maintenant j'ai 85 ans et il m'arrive l'idée d'acheter une guitare 3 quart, pace que j'ai trouvé sur le Net des prof. qui donnent de très bons enseignements de guitare et qui me poussent à essayer l'étude, juste pour passer le temps ! Et cette guitare Ibanez GA5TCEQ-AM me va à merveille! Une remarque: le siteThomann vous fait écouter les sonorités des guitare. Et c'est à vous de choisir l'objet.
