I use the HB NeckWrap Medium in two use-cases:
- Muting of the strings between the nut and the tuning pegs (i.e., elimination of the "harp effect"). The neck wrap remains at this position for the majority of the time. The product does its job flawlessly here.
- Muting of open strings when performing fretting-hand-only (legato, only hammer-ons) exercises. In this use case, I position the product at the position of the 2nd fret. This efficiently prevents the open strings from ringing.
Before making the purchase decision, I found myself thinking: "Hmm... Usually Harley Benton products are significanly more affordable when compared to the corresponding products made by the name-brands. This is not the case with the NeckWrap."
Upon receiving the product, I immediately noticed why this is the case. The HB NeckWrap is made from the best available materials. The product seems to be highly durable, and all details (velcro material, sewing quality, etc.) were stunning. This product truly feels like a quality product, and it definitely is worth the price. The product vastly outperforms another name-brand neck wrap that I own in terms of quality and functionality.
I can warmly recommend this product to all electric guitarists out there. This product is a great fit for all 6-string guitars.
