I try to keep this review in balance with how little money this guitar costs.
Good stuff: Looks good. Sounds really, really good with a fresh set of strings. Tuners are a bit plasticky and have a cheap feel, but they do their job ok. Very comfy neck and overall size (guitar as a whole) and feel to play and hold.
Bad stuff: Sharpest fret ends ever. Not "oversized" frets, just sushi knife sharp fret ends. Well, due to the level of sharpness this was a very easy fix (which was, I dunno, good thing considering the price?). Was a bit high action but that was also an easy fix (was on playable level though). Small finishing issues (glue/uneven bindings visible), but these don't actually bother at this price point, the guitar looks great overall.
Baddest stuff: Uneven frets here and there that really need attention (fix) if you want to avoid buzz, especially if you lower the action it came with. Most worrying: the neck "lives". Might just need more time for settling and playing in, but the neck seems to live quite a bit while/after playing longer time, I hope this problem goes away since all other problems are easy fixes. In my experience this kind of problem goes away in a few months of playing.
Conclusion: Very, very good guitar for the price if you can do small adjustments yourself. Sounds very nice fingerpicking and with a pick and is a very responsive instrument. For the price and noting the things I have mentioned, I would strongly recommend this as a budget guitar option.
