A decent banjo!

Everything works and it's so much a banjo that if you're intent on learning to play one, you could probably accomplish it with this! I tried on steel strings, nylgut strings and fishing line, tinkered with the tailpiece and eventually tore off the frets, and loved every iteration of the instrument. If they make playable banjos out of gourds, broomsticks and cat guts, don't fret about getting yourself a Harley Benton! It's affordable and playable.

Nice beginner banjo

A great way to start playing the banjo! Not a single thing to complain about, Harley Benton's quality is outstanding in it's price range. I was positively surprised by the feel of the neck and though i have no experience of a banjo it was easy to play. No dead frets or any buzzing, i could grab it straight from the box and start playing.

Tuners are smooth and responsive without any noticeable lag or dead spots and they hold the tune very well. I've played this banjo for four days now and needed to tune only a couple of times after bending.
An armrest would be nice, but it's not a big deal when in a proper playing position.

If you are looking for a good budget banjo, you just can't miss with this one.

hyvän kuuloinen ja mukavan tuntuinen Banjo, meikäläiselle ensimmäinen ikinä, ja voin kyllä sanoa olevani tyytyväinen. Hinta on mahtava ja niin on fiiliskin kun yrittää opetella soittamaan tätä kapinetta !

Bought this, since I wasn't certain I would like to play the banjo. Currently is living with a set of nylgut strings, plays great.
