Poor product

I really loved this strap, it is super classy and was really the most comfortable I ever had. And the attaching device is also really handy !

But I was super disappointed because with time the leather started to deteriorate and it eventually broke ...

I was really disappointed with this one and I hope they will really improve the durability of these, because the quality really doesn't fit the price tag ...

EVH Strap just great quality

The strap is well build, feels great and comfortable on the shoulder. It looks like leather but I assume it's some derivative sky version. I have the 42 version and seems more than long enough to have your guitar on your hip (rock wise).

If you have an EVH, you know you need one...

Bought for my EVH Striped Series 5150. I've stopped short of going the whole eye-bolts-and-clips route like Ed, but if you want to then this strap will allow it. Beware the choice of lengths (there are two) - I went for the longer one and it's JUST long enough for me when fully extended. The adjustment is worth mentioning too - both ends fasten (and are adjusted) with velcro, which is fine until you max out the length (like me) and end up with 1/2" of velcro supporting the weight of your guitar.
One last thing - I installed Schaller strap locks, which was a mistake. The strap material got a little chewed up/distorted during tightening. Stick to Grolsh rubbers with this one!
All in all, if you have an EVH, you should probably get one. If not, go for a Mono.
