So this is how a great slap bass sounds and feels like to play

After many years of playing electric bass I decided I could not truly call myself a bass player unless I got to grips with playing double bass . So upon purchase of a modest priced double bass which sounded ok and played reasonably well I even progressed to playing for a band but did not feel completely comfortable playing and struggled to achieve some aspects of slap bass playing .
After much deliberation and apprehension about splashing out on a more expensive bass that I could not even try before I purchased l pushed the button.
What can I say .? The bass was delivered perfectly thanks to the team at Thomann who I might add have given me years of great service.
What a difference this bass has made to my playing . I can now play things I had been trying to play and I’m no longer searching for that sound I have it.
My band love it. If you’re serious about slap bass I would recommend this bass it will transform your playing .

Der Duke wurde ordnungsgemäss per Spedition in die Schweiz geliefert. ca. 14 Tage nach Bestellung hatte ich den Bass bei mir.

Die OriginalSaiten habe ich bereits durch das Thomann Team auswechseln lassen. Ich habe die Presto Medium Strings aufziehen lassen.

Mit dem Sound und der Verarbeitung bin ich sehr zufrieden. Der K&K Bass Max überträgt den Sound perfekt für Bluegrass Rock`n Roll und Blues.

Auch die Wunscheinstellungen der Saitenlage wurden perfekt ausgeführt.
