Excellent quality pickguard by D'Andrea but no fit

It's very well made and has the alumiun foil against interference for the whole electronics area which is nice.

The guard does not have small alignment holes at the potentiometers and also no grooves for the pickup and switch screws.

Additionally it's my belief that this particular model is "orange pearl" rather than "gold pearl" color as Thomann is selling it. Checked and compared in D'Andrea site with the pickguard in my hand, gold one looks more yellow to me. It took me a while to realize it, so I can't return it after taking the platics off unfortunately.

Stunning look, but prepare to make adjustments

The pickguard itself is striking, however so prepare to work on it. It’s missing the tiny slots that hold your potentiometers in place, slots so tiny it might cause some bother to place them at home. If you have a drill head slim enough and a properly slotted pickguard to place atop as a template, it’s an easy fix. For the price, it should come ready but if you love the look and have the tools, it’s not necessarily a deal breaker. A very strong hand with a screwdriver may even suffice!

J’ai installé ce Pickguard pour customiser
ma Strat, est je dois dire elle a un look
d’enfer. Ces pickguard sobt de très bonne
qualité et aucune surprise lors du montage. Tout ce laisse assembler sans
aucune retouche à faire.

habe das Pickguard auf einer Strat Ultra montiert. Hatte schwere Bedenken, daß es von den Bohrlöchern nicht passt. Aber was soll ich sagen, alles perfekt, Millimeter genau, und schaut traumhaft aus. Besonders im Vergleich mit dem goldenen Alu-Serienpickuard. Einfach nur klasse.
