Great pickups!

The sound is very open and old school. Not as hot or powerfull as most p90 but in my opinion much more like the sound you will hear from old Les Pauls, 330 etc. I use them in a Les Paul Deluxe. The bridge pickup is very woody and Telecaster like. It has a lot of treble and piano like bass. The neck pickup is almost like the neck pickup on a Stratocaster but more beefy and jazzy. The middle position rings like a bell and almost sounds like T Bone Walker. If you are a fan of old school blues and jazz this is the real deal. Think of Hubert Sumlin (Howlin Wolf) and early Freddie King. I think most p90 pickups are too hot/overwound and nasal sounding. This is not the case with these pickups. These pickups will make your Les Paul sound like the early 50´s Les Pauls. Listen to Les Paul himself from that period. It sounds like good single coils...very good single coils. Play them clean or turn up the amp!

Super PU‘s zum fairen Preis!

Nach einer flüchtigen Begegnung mit einer 54er LP, hatte ich mich unsterblich in den P 90 Sound verliebt und beschloss die Minis meiner 69er Deluxe gegen P90 zu tauschen. Auf die Bare Knuckles kam ich, weil ich auf der Suche nach PU‘s mit möglichst niedrigen Output war. Der ganze Voodoo um bestimmte Hersteller, die mehr als das Doppelte verlangen, ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar sprich auch nicht hörbar. Auf jeden Fall hat sich nach dem Wechsel der Pickups, das eingestellt, was ich am P90 so liebe. Hochgradig sensible Reaktion auf Ton- und Volumepoti, super Dynamik, alle Feinheiten kommen viel besser rüber. Ich kann die PU‘s jedenfalls wärmstens empfehlen!

Sur une Harley Benton Single Cut gold top (genre '56) c'est un pur bonheur, le son claque et jailli façon Telecaster, absolument pas le côté mou/boueux qui me rebute d'ordinaire avec les LP. C'est maléable à souhait avec la tonalité de la guitare, l'équilibre Bridge/Neck est juste parfait (raison #1 pour laquelle je voulais changer les Roswell d'origine), toutes les combinaisons sont 100% exploitables et toujours musicales.

Après les Roswell d'origine j'avais essayé des Gibsons et des Lollard mais là je peux m'arrêter de chercher, j'ai trouvé les P90 parfait pour cette guitare !
