Have had this bag for 5 years now. I have used it extensively as a travel kit bag flying in Europe and US for photography gigs, 5-6 times a year, say a total of 30 trips. I typically have put heavy stands and other accessories in this bag and checked it in as oversized baggage max 32kg. Even if the surrounding materials are soft it has a strudy bottom plate and wheels are a lifesaver, do not need to carry 32kg, but can just roll. It is long enough to fit Para 133 own case inside with a long stand disassembled a bit. Despite it being soft nothing so far has broken when flying with it. On shoot location it is easy to pull to places with heavy gear inside, no carrying at all. I think the sturdy bottom plate protects the gear well here in travel, but of course it is not a hard case. As I only have stands inside I do not really care and no damages so far. It was difficult to find a bag long enought to fit my stands for location work and short enought to be accepted as oversize for airlines. That being said, after 5 years, the material on the top and bottom ends of this bag is wearing through because of heavy airline baggage treatment. So there are now small wear-through holes in the bag and zipper is starting to show its age. So, good bag, but will not last forever in my use case it seems.
