Best cables i've tried. Very low capacitance and a nice treble responce.

Very nice throughput with minimal tone suck. High frequencies are very precent but in a great way without any harshness. I did not believe changing from my standard Mogami cables to this one would make much difference but it sure did. The difference is not something the audience will to notice though.

The build quality is solid bit be aware that the cables are very thick and can be difficult (but doable) to fit into a standard neutrik connector.

All in all this cable is highly recommendable and the price is not bad either.

Støjfrit og let at arbejde med.

Det er ret stift, så egner sig bedst til instrumentkabel, og jeg vil ikke anbefale dette til patchkabler.

Too fat for my jack connectors but great cable

First attempt at making my own jack leads with this cable and I am happy with the results. The cable is extremely durable and well protected. The copper braiding is high quality and plentiful.

However the match with Neutrik NP2X-B connectors is not made in heaven. I should have read up about this beforehand but didn't. The cable is too thick to comfortably close the connectors tight. But not impossible. I ended up slicing some thickness off the cable to allow the connector to seat flush with itself. Even then it was pretty difficult to force the threads to close.

Still now it's done I'm extremely satisfied with the cable, it carries sound same as the pros and seems undefeatable.

Sommer Cables is one of my favorite for years now. This cable too shows the quality and care it's made with. I've tested and compared it to the XXL cable and noticed that I prefer the XXL. This cable has a very low capacity , which may be interesting for certain instruments. For Bass I prefer the XXL.
