This is about as cheap as it gets, so obviously there are some cons. Tuners turn the wrong way, I swapped the left ones for the right ones and all is good. Bridge needed to be adjusted as the strings weren't level. Fingerboard is plastic and looks cheap, with tacky gold "frets" and roman numerals that start over at the 12th fret (fret 15 is marked III, and so on). It came with, what seemed like a standard set of electric guitar strings, that were completely useless for lap steel tunings. It went out of tune just resting the tonebar on the the strings. I put some heavier strings on it and now it plays nicely. The gigbag is flimsy and mine was moldy..?! The headstock slots seem a little to narrow, as the two middle strings wants to ride on the "center block". Despite all this it actually sounds quite nice, and with some more lap steel appropriate strings and a little work, it plays allright. Would buy again.
