Zultan's Q Series is a range of medium-weight, hand-hammered Turkish cymbals made of B20 bronze, which are striking because of their unusual appearance. The different surface treatments are not only pleasing to the eye, but also have an effect on the sound. The result is a sound that can be used in many different styles, cuts through well, and at the same time has a dark, warm sonic range. The affordable Q Series is aimed at ambitious beginners and more advanced drummers, and comprises individual hi-hats, crashes, splashes, chinas, and rides, as well as pre-configured complete sets.

Opposites attract attention

While the completely lathed and high-gloss polished underside of the Q cymbals is similar to the popular Zultan Rock Beat series, the upper side is absolutely unique. The rim, which is covered with deep hammer indentations, is unlathed – as is the bell – which creates a strong contrast to the high-gloss centre with its raw, earthy look. The manual craftsmanship of Zultan's experienced Turkish cymbal smiths makes each cymbal really unique. The 18" china has a dynamic, full, deep sound with a slightly dark character and medium sustain.

The Zultan Q cymbals are in the medium weight category and are ideal for genres such as Pop, Funk, and Blues thanks to their warm and balanced sound and their slightly reduced treble range. Good sound & looks

This is a very nice sounding china cymbal with a medium-short sustain. There's a certain warmth to the sound and it's just generally very pleasing to the ear. A good balance of smoothness and bite if you will. My cymbal weighs 1040 grams. Needless to say, the combination of brilliant and raw finishes also looks really nice.

Can't speak to the durability yet, but generally i don't see an issue with Zultan cymbals. I've bought plenty of them over the past 5 years or so and all of them are still going strong. I had one crash crack due to a manufacturing defect a few years ago but Thomann replaced it free of charge, no tricky questions asked.

Für ein 17" China kann es auch ganz schön laut sein, perfekt geeignet für Breakdowns im Bereich Metalcore. Es klingt kurz und trashig, am besten gesagt: It hit's in your face!!! Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich TOP und die Optik ist ja sowieso der Hammer. Meiner Meinung nach muss es sich nicht hinter anderen Firmen, Serien (z.B. Meinl Byzance) verstecken und kostet nicht mal die Hälfte eines solchen Beckens. Von mir gibt es daher alle Sterne :-)

Interessant nicht nur für Einsteiger

Das Becken spricht schnell an, klar ohne zu klirren. Haptisch und optisch wirklich schön. Hat den China Charakter wie ich sie vom "Original Wuhan" kenne, trashig aber ohne, dass einem die Ohren bluten. Lautstärke und Sustain sind angemessen im Bandkontext. Als Betonung im Metal fast nicht mehr wegzudenken. Es muss keine 500€ kosten um ein gutes Effektbecken zu kaufen. Werde das Becken weiterempfehlen. Bin mit der Marke Zultan bislang sehr zufrieden.

Superbe China avec un son plutôt dans les bas que les aigus et un sustain moyen. J'avais testé la 14" Rock beat qui ne m'avait pas du tout plut.
