Great saxophone

I learned tenor saxophone on an old Rampone & Cazzani DeLuxe from 1990. Switching to the Yanagisawa TW02 was such a huge improvement! The lowest notes are incredibly easier to blow, the mechanics is super efficient and fluid (especially the left-hand pinky keys). But, above all, I love the kind of sound that the solid bronze body produces, it is warm and slightly darker than usual, with an occasional "scratch" in the tone that is just lovely. On top of that, this sax ships with an excellent metal ligature and a sturdy nice-looking bag. I feel like I could play on this sax forever...

Fantastic instrument, fantastic service

As an intermediate player, still studying the ways of jazz specifically, I had a few doubts whether I should've bought a new or a vintage instrument.
I decided to give this one a go and was extremely surprised at the build quality and ergonomics. It's snappy, tonally rich and very responsive in every way. I should add that I play on a V16T7 mouthpiece and have yet to make the switch to metal ( will update review once that happens) but so far I'm very impressed ( it looks great as well, if I may add!) .
Other than that, the packaging was very very good and despite getting a notification that it may be delayed I still got the instrument within days of me paying for it.
Well worth trying if you're looking for an sax that is extremely well built and plays like a charm!

Eine mehr als runde Sache

Nachdem ich zwei Jahre auf einem Yamaha YTS-275 gelernt habe, war es Zeit für ein Upgrade. Nach dem Probieren vieler verschiedener Modelle auf Messen und im Thomann Musikhaus (sehr freundliche Beratung!), u.a. Selmer, hochklassigere Yamaha, Mauritat ect habe ich mich für das T-WO2 von Yanagisawa entschieden. Fazit nach eineinhalb Wochen Spielen daheim: Nach wie vor sehr begeistert! Die Intonation habe ich mit Stimmgerät "geprüft", 1a! Die Verarbeitung, auch die des Koffers und vor allem der Sound (der ist aber subjektiv!) überzeugen auf ganzer Linie. Lediglich Wischer könnten noch dabei sein. Auch war ich etwas überrascht, dass der Kork am S-Bogen für das beiliegende Mundstück (finde ich sehr gut, dass ein hochwertiges Mundstück dabei ist!) etwas dick war. Kann aber auch ein Einzelfall sein, Abhilfe ist mit feinem SChleifpapier einfach. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir!

Bonjour
J'Utilise mon sax ténor pour mon loisir, très bonne justesse
des sons.bonne ergonomie des doigté, un petit inconvénient à rectifier la clé qui se trouve à côté du SI main gauche trop serrée sur le SI ce qui oblige à prêter attention pour ne pas l'accrocher, je m'y suis habitué difficilement.
Sinon que du plaisir c'et un très bon instrument haut de gamme ou l'on trouve tout de suite sa facilité, pas d?accoutumance à avoir ,on à l'impression d'avoir déjà joue avec.
