Does exactly what it should !!!

Tried many others but was never satisfied with the sound. It is expensive but worth it., no need to mess about with eq settings, just plug in and go. Each one is hand made with a corresponding serial number . Looks ace, feels ace and sounds ace. You pay for what you get.

Schon lange wünschte ich mir ein original "Porchboard Bass" aber die sind nur schwer zu bekommen und teuer. Wild Dog Yowie is nóch ein Hunderter teuerer und schaut aus wie ein stück Tischlerplatte mit 4 untergeklebte Gummifüße. Kein Lautstärkeregler, nichts. Ich hatte kein vertrauen.
Eingestöpselt im AER Domino (120 Watt) und in Frischhaltefolie verpackt (es muß wieder unbeschädigt zurück) Gain 4, bass 8, mid 3, treble 2, Lautstärke schön aufgedreht. Fuß drauf. Ferse macht "tok", Vorfuß an die seiten macht "tek".
Und dann am Sweetspot:

THUMP!

THUMP! THUMP! tok und THUMP!..tek | THUMP! THUMP! tok und THUMP!..tek |
Gefunden. Das kriegt der Thomensch nicht zurück!

[Ich habe jetzt, 6 Monate später, weil ich Volume und Klang ? inflight? regeln wollte ein Speaker Simulation (Mooer Radar art.425324) zugeschaltet. Ergebnis ist nicht weniger als beeindruckend Yowie macht jetzt, in Bass-Cabinet modus, auch KATHUMPH! ]

Hält nicht, was es verspricht...., viel zu teuer

Anhand des relativ hohen Preises hatte ich mir da schon etwas mehr erwartet.
Letztlich klingt diese percussive " Kickdrum" nicht besser als wenn man mit der Hand auf ein SM 58 klopft.Mein Bass-Sound der Cajon klingt um ein vielfaches besser.
Sehr schade... Preis / Leistung steht hier absolut nicht im Verhältnis !!
