Exact copy of Paul Desmond's mouthpiece!

I honestly don't understand why people keep saying this is more suited for classical instead of jazz. This mouthpiece actually has the same inner shape and design as the famous MC Gregory model A. The mouthpiece that Mr. Desmond used for almost his entire career with the Dave Brubeck quartet. It is surprising how cheap this is, knowing that it is very hard to get the model A. It plays fantastic and has that sweet, breathy, lyrical tone. So if you want to sound like a dry martini while playing "Take Five", this should be your first choice!!

Accurate and responsive classical mouthpiece

Manufactured to perfection, an even response across the range of the instrument, very accurate intonation even on the tricky notes. Quality is consistent - possibly better than Selmer, so you are guaranteed to get a good mouthpiece. Tone is bright but evenly balanced and modern sounding, could be used for Jazz, but better suited to classical.
