Ich habe bisher das BD5 gespielt. Das BD4-HD kommt mir (jetzt) etwas leichter zu spielen vor. Ob die Intonation nun besser geworden ist, weiß ich nicht. Kann auch am Spieler liegen. Es klingt super, auch im Vergleich zu anderen Mundstücken mit ähnlichen Specs. Aber teuer ist es. Ob HD oder nicht muss jeder für sich entscheiden.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Mundstück

Ich spiele seit Jahren BD4 und BD5 in Abwechslung und bin von der Entwicklung der HD-Reihe sehr überzeugt. Der Klang ist wärmer, solider und die Ansprache einfacher. Die Blätter wirken ganz leicht etwas resistenter, dies führt bei mir aber nicht zu einem Wechsel der Blattstärke. Ganz grob kann man mit den Stärken 3,5 beim BD5HD, 3 beim BD4HD und 2,5 beim BD6HD, aber dies ist natürlich stark vom Blatttyp und Mensch abhängig.

Ebonite de qualité musicale...

Alors, comme le dit Vandoren, j'ai testé ce bec en ébonite de "qualité musicale" ;-)
Ce qui est certain, c'est qu'il sonne très bien, comparativement au BD4 que j'avais précédemment. Le son est doux, chaud, rond, dites le comme vous voulez, je note vraiment une différence avec mon BD4 précédent.

När jag började spela med Vandorens BD4 hittade jag hem bland munstycken! Och, nu med HD-varianten upplever jag en bättre fylligare, något mörkare ton. HD-varianten ger lite mer blåsmotstånd än den vanliga (standard) BD4. Jag spelar gärna fortsatt på båda!
