To clean up ok
So first you have to determine - one packs the thing out, stöpselt it together (of course only after you have the separately purchased Chanter Reed reedsteckt) - and it looks pure optically really very good. Ok, on the pedestal you can see that the Practice Chanter is not quite vertical and therefore already times with slight touch - but once you know the first time, you can pay attention to it. So this is not really a problem.
It was even worse that - perhaps when drilling or burning out the whistle - a lot of soot particles are formed, which remain in the wood. When playing, they are then blown out and it really really violently after burnt wood. So much so that I had even suspected our stove to suddenly have a leaky furnace pipe. I soon noticed that it smells only when I'm practicing - and after 14 days the smell was also completely gone, so the pipe "empty blown".
If only one point remains - the sound quality. I'm not an expert here and can only compare the instrument to soundclips on YouTube - it might be that the pitch of my instrument is not quite right. On the other hand, I only bought the instrument at this low price to check whether I would stay on the ball - and it is good enough.
