Fantastic Sounding Bell

This singing bowl has a wonderful deep reverberating tone that lasts for a long time after being struck with mallet (included) and when using the 'rubbing' method this bell starts with a fabulous low singing sound almost instantly.

I will be using this bowl as part of my Buddhist practise, I do already have a bell but it's a higher pitch. I do recommend listening to the sound files provided by Thomann on their site and choose a singing bowl that resonates in yourself.

Fantastic sing bowl, fabulous price and a very fast delivery, ordered on a Friday and received it Thursday morning in Ireland!

Very low frequency circling vibration, easy to keep, a little difficult as the resonant metal begins to bounce from the wand, a considered amount of pressure at certain angles needs to be applied with the fingers and wrist. So big i can fit my face in the bowl which is great with the long lasting resonance to really wash my head in the sound. Bowl can be played with two rubber headed mallets and added to gong work and other percussive instruments. When struck creates a very long lasting sound, resembles the sound of a grandfather clock in an echo chamber, beautiful overtoning chimes. Yet to try different levels of water in the bowl to see what difference it makes to the over all sound. A well presented and crafted product with a distinct individual sound.

The drum sounds absolutely amazing and resonates for a long time. Perfect tone.
I suggest buffing the drum when you get it, as the black coating can leave black marks on your palm and fingers. Highly recommend!

N5 is one of my favourite bowls, I have one small and I wanted to complement with the lower pitch frequencies of the similar frequency spectrum. You wont be wrong choosing this one, sound is clean, clear, can go loud and can be thing and delicate but still present....
