This is a good, rainproof, well padded bag that should last for ages.
I bought this gigbag with a Harley Benton acoustic guitar. I was surprised at how weighty and solid it is. If you're after a very lightweight bag then this may not be the one for you, but if good protection is your priority then go right ahead and order it now!
The bag has a carry handle, a carry strap, and two shoulder straps that stow neatly away when not in use. You couldn't ask for more options to leave your hands free for the rest of your gear.
The faux leather stuff that this is made from seems tough and resilient. It is also waterproof. So long as you close the zips tightly and don't stand out in a storm for hours, this will offer much better protection against rain that any of the fabric covered bags or cases.
The guitar I bought this for is an 000-14 size. There is room to spare as this bag is made to accommodate dreadnought sized guitars, but there's a strap to secure the guitar around its neck which stops it from rattling around so I'd say this is good for many sizes of guitar. I bought this size because I'll also be getting a Harley Benton dreadnought soon.
The only thins I can think of that some people might not like is the weight. As I say, it isn't a lightweight bag, but neither is it outrageously heavy. In my opinion, the slight extra weight that comes from good protection is a very worthwhile trade-off.
This gigbag single handedly beats all gigbags under under 100$, while costing much less. The basics: - there are shoulder straps that can be tucked into the body of the gigbag if they're not needed. - there is a carrying strap that can be disconnected if it's not needed. - there is a carrying handle. - the padding is VERY thick, with varying levels of softness/hardness. Seems quite sturdy, but remember that this is a gigbag and not a hard case. - the gigbag is huge and can fit my Takamine G72 jumbo 12 stringer quite easily. - the exterior is some kind of fake leather, but seems of a very good quality. Supposedly its water resistant, hopefully I won't have to find out if it's true or not. Usually fake leather crumbles apart after a few years of use, still need to see how this will hold up. - There are a lot of outside pockets for your equipment. - the zippers for the case and the pockets seem very strong. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
