A luxury seat for all shapes and sizes

The Thomann Guitar Stool has been specially developed for guitarists and bassists to offer both practical functionality and ergonomic comfort. Its appealing, timeless design belies its robust construction; it can bear up to 110kg (over 240lbs) and comfortably seat almost anyone with its adjustable seat height of between 48cm and 75cm (19" to 29.5"). The five castors lock in place automatically when weight is applied to them, to prevent unwanted movement and ensure safe playing. The seat itself has a diameter of 40cm, and its brown imitation leather cover is not only very comfortable, but robust enough to effectively keep dirt and spills at bay. And to ensure a comfortable playing session for every guitarist, the height of the ring-shaped footrest is also independently adjustable, making it easy to set up the stool for any playing position – for example for classical guitarists who, when playing without a strap, like to rest their guitar on their thigh.

Thomann Guitar Stool

Stable, flexible, capable

The Thomann Guitar Stool's base, its five castor legs, and the adjustable footrest will all see a lot of impact and action, and as such they're covered in a generous layer of chrome that can cope with even the roughest treatment. The housing of the gas lift, with its matt black finish, creates a nice contrast. Adjustable up to a height of up to 75cm, the Thomann Guitar Stool's flexibility is almost unrivalled on the market at this price: The height is adjusted with an easily accessible lever directly below the seat. Despite its robust construction and enormous stability, the Thomann Guitar Stool weighs no more than 5.6kg, so it is remarkably easy both to manoeuvre it around the studio and to put it in the back of a van.

Not just for the six-stringers

Although primarily developed with guitarists and bassists in mind, the Thomann Guitar Stool is equally capable of providing comfortable seating for players of many other instruments from the rest of the world of music, be they keyboardists, brass players, a percussion ensemble, or crew members at the mixing desk. And with its attractive design, the stool also makes an excellent compact addition to the seating arrangements in a jazz club, break room, or rehearsal space – its robust construction and heavy-duty artificial leather cover can withstand everyday wear and tear, and then some, not to mention that it's easy to clean if there are any spills or splashes.

guitar stool, Thomann

Want a good guitar seat - you found it!
Everything works perfectly. You get nothing less than for eur 400.- for example. I've had one for 4 x more expensive, so I have a good comparison.
This is not the best for everyday giging and moving around as it does not allow to fold it in any way and takes a lot of space in car. But in rehearsal rooms, permanent equipment on stages etc - very good!
The footrest could of have a tiny bit bigger radius but this is personal preference.
I've had 2 of folding stools and sold both very quickly. If the folded one has appropriate weight and folds as needed, then it must be perfect fit for person, which is very mush 50/50 situation, rather 80/20 not to fitting. If the folded one has more options to setup as you need, it is more likely very heavy and does not fold enough to spare space. In last case I would already prefer the Thomann stool as it takes no more space and weighs no more. But this stool costs way less for 100%!

A
Great stool but with smaller footrest

I would like for footrest to be a big bigger, maybe the same as the sitting side. But the high adjustment and everything is great, I use it for all sorts of things and not just playing bass.

Ein Musikerbarhocker mit einigen Minuspunkten
Guitar-Teacher Chris Heun 28.10.2024
