Great value stereo pair
I bought these for snare drum duties. They work brilliantly on top and bottom together. Subsequently I have been using them as a stereo room pair in x-y config and they are great. solid build quality, good accessories. They will get a lot of use in general.

tbone sc 140 stereoset
Purchased these to record rock drums. Had been using other microphones which i thought were doing a fine job, however when i made a few recordings using these and used them in band recording i was doing all the other band members immediately commented that the drums were much crisper, clearer, and it was easier for them to hear the drum track while they were doing there part over the drums. These microphones come in a solid case, can be mounted on one stand using the stereo bar, and have a microphone cover. They pick up alot of sound, so be quiet in the backround. Have used these to record piano, and vocals (ensemble from a distance, Singing right into them would pick up too many explositives). They are small and powerful. Takes a while to find the best position to place. These are affordable and clear. If you make a living from doing professional recordings you may want higher spec. If your like me and want quality and affordibility these are for you.

Very nice mics
I'm not that experienced with recording equipment and recording acoustic instruments, so I cannot reallt compare these to the more expensive mics, but to my ear these sound really really good and unless you actually have a high end studio I think these should be sufficent for all kinds of recording, be it a piano, a choir or a singer songwriter.

VS
Normal mic for a good price.
Sound is clear and seems to take all frequencies quite well. However it is a bad choice for a real studios because of materials and quality, it is not reliable if not taken with care. However in a personal home studio it will work and live quite long i think.
