Great stuff for great value

I just needed a smooth + affordable hardware set to go with my new Gretsch Catalina Club Studio. Previously I used Gibraltar sets and was pretty satisfied with them. But this time i wanted to try Tama's HB5W which is just around the same price range with some fancy Tama features. Loved the flexibility of the Hi-Hat stand (HH205). You can also check the reviews of the separate items and you'll see they are also highly rated. But as Aristotle would put it, "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts", and for a lower price!

Tama quality for the solid price

It's the best of all words - fair price, stability, lightness, visual apeal, flexibility...
We always think of sound, feel, shell quality, cymbals... But quality hardware is what you need to feel comfortable on the stage.
Two boom stands are great, they are sturdy and stable even with heavier rides offseted from the central pole.
Hi-hat stand is also great, you can adjust tension and pedal angle easily.
Kick pedal is no surprise - iron cobra.
Snare stand is stable and light.
Note that hi-hat rod is pretty long, it will get in a way of splash cymbals or even left crash. Do yourself a favor and buy additional short rod (only a few bucks).

Amazing !!!! I bought 4 pieces of this product , and not to understand why pay more for something that is working for less money !!!! ???? They are great to keep cymbals of all sizes and the love of weight !!!

Ich nutze seit ca. 10 Jahren Hardware von Tama. Ich brauchte nun kurzfristig ein Hardware-Set für ein Schlagzeug und habe das HB5W bestellt. Ich bin auch nach mehrmaligem Auf- und Abbau rundum zufrieden.

Die Galgenständer und der Snareständer sind sehr stabil und der Aufbau geht leicht und schnell. Die Ständer stehen bombenfest und nichts wackelt beim Spielen!

Die Hi-Hat-Maschine lässt sich in fünf Stufen einstellen. Somit kann man die Feder eher straff oder eher lose einstellen. Das Spielgefühl ist sehr angenehm und die Verarbeitung des Ständers und des Clutches ist hochwertig!

Die Fußmaschine ist viel, viel besser als erwartet! Ich bin von dem Spielgefühl der Iron Cobra Fußmaschine sehr begeistert! Auch wenn es sich um die günstigste aus der Iron Cobra-Familie handelt - die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr hochwertig!

Sicher kann man für mehr Geld noch hochwertigere Hardware kaufen, aber dieses Hardware-Set ist für meine Ansprüche vollkommen ausreichend. Die Ständer tun, was sie sollen. Aber vor allem die Fußmaschine und die Hi-Hat-Maschine sind nicht zu unterschätzen!
