Superb value tom, superb quality, great sound. Maple shell in beautiful lacquer. Only upgraded the heads and found the sound. Highly recommended.

Superstar- Tom

Ich habe mir diese Toms in den Größen 8, 10 und 12 Zoll gekauft, um mein Tama Superstar- Classic- Set zu ergänzen. Das klappt hervorragend, da diese Toms die gleichen Maple- Kessel, die gleiche Hardware und sogar die gleiche Lackierung in Black-Burst aufweisen! Die einzigen Unterschiede bestehen in anderen Badges und der Direkt Flexi- Mount Halterung, welche das Sustain minimal verkürzen ( für mich eher ein Vorteil ), aber dafür auch nur minimalen Platzbedarf haben. Dadurch sind sehr kompakte Aufbauten möglich. Die Verarbeitungsqualität der Kessel als auch der Hardware ist Tama-typisch sehr gut, bis auf die dünnen Spannreifen, auf denen die Spannschrauben leider keine planen Auflagen finden.
Als Ersatz bekommen die Millenium Energy-Hoops von mir eine ganz dicke Empfehlung. Der Sound der Toms ist warm und offen, läßt sich mit besseren Fellen nach Geschmack noch einmal deutlich aufwerten.
Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert!!
