3 pickups in one when split

I have installed this in a MIM strat along with a 3 positions switch so I can split either to north or to south coil.
North coil is based on custom coil sound, where south is classic 59. This is why splitting these makes a difference!

Ich habe den Humbucker in meine Ibanez SA-160 an der Bridge-Position eingebaut.

Die Passform ist super, genau wie die Verarbeitung.
Das Verlöten hat sich da schon ein wenig schwieriger gestaltet, da die Diagramme von Seymour Duncan nicht für Ibanez Hardware ausgelegt. Hier war einiges an Recherchearbeit nötig, aber als diese erledigt war hat auch das super geklappt.
Die Kabellänge ist mehr als ausreichend.

Der Sound ist sensationell! Klar, knackig mit ordentlich Punch im Clean-Bereich. Mit Verzerrung schön dynamisch und mit ordentlich Druck.

Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder zuschlagen!

A significant improvement to my guitar sound!

After installing this pickup, I was happily surprised to hear the sound! My guitar now sounds much more mature, more 'real'.

This pickup has great response to (variations in) pick attack and is very dynamic. It can sound sweet, but it starts to growl when you hit the strings harder; perfect for the music I want to play!

My higher strings used to sound a bit thin, but with this pickup, my sound finally has the 'body' it needs, throughout the whole fretboard. Rich tone, full of character!

This is in my opinion a great pickup for (classic) rock and blues, but perhaps not the first choice for tight/fast metal music and shredding.
I've installed it in a mahogany body guitar with a maple cap and for me it's perfect!
