Der Sela Gong ist ein kraftvoller und vielseitiger Windgong mit breitem und gut steuerbarem Klangspektrum. Es gibt kein nervöses Überschlagen, vermutlich durch das höhere Gewicht bedingt. 6 kg sind schon eine Hausnummer. Er funktioniert auch mit verschiedenen Reibern sehr gut und auch leise, feine Töne lassen sich gut modellieren. Der höhere Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Gongs dieser Größe erscheint mir durchaus gerechtfertigt, zumal eine Transporthülle und ein wirklich sehr guter Schlägel zum Lieferumfang gehören. Und der Gong ist nicht nur eine Ohren-, sondern auch eine Augenweide. Einzige Einschränkung wäre, aufgrund des Gewichtes führt ein Einsatz als mobiler Handgong nach kurzer Zeit zu Ermüdung und ist somit eher nicht sinnvoll. Ein Ständer ist zu empfehlen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Klare Empfehlung!
