Comfort and a big sound!

I was looking for a horn mouthpiece with a deep enough funnel cup to deliver the big sound I like, and with a wide enough rim to give me plenty of comfort. The Shilke 31 delivers very well on both, and the rounded rim means that flexibility isn't much compromised by the thickness of it. Great quality and value :-)

Ausgezeichnetes Mundstück mit breitem Rand

Nachdem ich seit über 40 Jahren Flügelhorn und Trompete spiele habe ich vor ein paar Jahren begonnen zusätzlich Waldhorn zu spielen. Mein Problem war, dass die meisten Waldhornmundstücke einen sehr schmalen Rand haben. Dadurch hatte ich große Ansatzprobleme wenn ich danach auf das Flügelhorn wechselte. Ich suchte daher ein Waldhornmundstück mit einem breiten Rand.
Mit dem Schilke 31 fand ich genau das Richtige. Es hat einen breiten Rand und einen tiefen V-Kesses mit einer großen Bohrung. Die Töne sind sehr weich und dunkel und entsprechen meinen Vorstellungen. Sowohl die Ansprache als auch die Intonation sind sehr gut. Bis zum g“ ausgezeichnet zu spielen, darüber wird’s anstrengend.
Für meine Zwecke ist es genau das, was ich gesucht hatte.
