I am very pleased with this security locks, it makes taking and putting the strap back a lot easier than the strap blocks that I was previously using.
The instalation process was very easy as well, all you need is an Allen wrench and a tiny screwdriver and you're ready to go. The screw and the strap button are all the same piece which is very convinient. The instalation of the locking system is very easy and a no brainer at all. It consists on the main piece that you have to pull in orther for you to unlock the strap and the wheel that you use to secure it. I that same wheel there's a tiny screw, that you're going to turn using that screwdriver I previously mentioned.
If your strap happens to brake and you have no time to switch the locking system from one strap to another, you can always go back to use it like any other strap button, but I advise you to have strap blocks lying arround just in case it happens, that or you buy a second locking system, if you don't mind spending an extra money to just be prepared.

Essential product - Schaller strap locks
ssk0g1 09.08.2023
After experiencing a strap sliding off my first electric guitar, about 30 years ago, almost hitting the floor (thankfully I grabbed it, but a terrifying experience for a young guitar player), I realized that this was not a situation I wanted to repeat.

I did my research, and ended up getting a set of Schaller strap locks.
Since this, I have owned more than 20 guitars, and I use S-locks for all of them. I have never had an accident using these (just make sure that everything is tightened from time to time).

The nice thing, is that you only need the full set for the straps you use on a general basis, and then buy the screws separately if you have more guitars than straps. This way you can have security that your precious instrument is safe but at the same time a more economic solution than needing a complete set for each guitar you own.

The design has changed slightly during all these years, but the product available today is even more dependable than when I started out, so I cannot else than highly recommend these. And if you end up selling the guitar, you can restore it to stock specification and keep the screws for your next axe.

AG
Probably the best strap locks
Adrian G 01.05.2020
I've been using these in my fairly heavy ash body Ibanez RG for almost 8 months now and never had a problem. They are snug, don't rattle, the paint on them is still fine after putting the strap on and off dozens of times.

Pros:
- putting the strap on and off is extremely simple (even satisfying for some - including me)
- rock solid, you won't have any kind of fear of your strap falling off
- easy mounting on the strap (I only had to re-tighten the rings once in 8 months since one of them was just a little loose and I haven't even tightened the screws)

Cons:
- the only real potential problem - the screws are a bit larger than the original ones and I was pretty scared about chipping the finish messing the screw hole, thought I might have to drill bigger holes. That wasn't necessary, I just lubricated the screws with some wax and easily screwed them in manually - slid like butter
- this is minor, but one of the washers teared apart and had to use one of the originals

H
A must for any guitar!
HMMR 04.10.2022
Second pair I get, also in black.
The Ruthenium locks looked nice too but not really matching the rest of the guitar's looks but they are also really nice.

My two favorite guitars have now the same system and 1 guitar strap can be used for both since of course the locks fit different sets.

PROS.....
-Secure your guitar with a smoother click, and forget about dropping by mistake due to a non secured strap.
-Standard item sizes makes it a joy to just have one favorite strap for all guitars with the system. If using a wireless system this is really helpful since you can't just get as many senders as guitars. One strap to play them all!
-Easy to install, even if I never feel comfortable with re installing screws into wood it works like a charm, used some soap to pass the screws before installing them just to be sure they went in smoother.

CONS....
-None really,
