I think better than the RMG band
Always just the music on the computer, clicking smartphone is no longer exciting. One has unexpectedly longing for old phonograms like the record or the tape. The tape was already with me since Jahrzenten the Fascinating medium in the audio technology. One buys itself from hobby used Revoxmaschinen freshly measured on the LPR35. Then I had bought this roll, screwed on an old Maxell coil. But then in the ECO mode Revox B77 ie 9,5cms 4Spur stereo made a test recording from the Yamaha keyboard. When playing then but on an A77 amazed, how well the quality at 9.5 cms is already. Hi-Fi quality (almost studio quality) is given to my hearing already at 9.5cms. Clear frequency response. Noise does it only very quietly, so one can actually do without Dolby NR, DBX etc. can. At 19cms and or 2 track it can only get better. To my knowledge, this LPR35 tape is just right for the home use 9,5cms & 19cm. Since I have with the somewhat older RMG band, which is no longer produced, somewhat worse experiences. Too many drops at 9,5cm. This version on NAB core, is suitable for people who still have Leerspulen at home, or would like to replace the old worn out tapes with new ones. Make sure that the coils have these 3 screws. For example, from Maxell, Revox ect. There are on coils with 4 screws such as TDK. Also, who has the smaller 13cm, 15cm & 18cm coils. With such a 1100-meter reel you can either wind up 2 pieces of 18cm coils or 3 pieces of 15cm coils or 4 pieces of 13cm coils with new tape. Cheaper, as in the single purchase of the smaller coils.
