Very happy with this piece

Ive been using the rovner star on both alto and tenor sax in preference to all my other ligatures for a few years now. It is very cheap compared to many others but cheap doesnt mean bad here. It gives a lot of variety of sound depending on how deep you place it on the mouthpiece and you also have the option of turning it upside down for a brighter sound more like a metal mouthpiece sound. It is very durable and shows no signs of wear even after years of use. This is my go to ligature and for a very cheap price i would recommend it to anyone, beginner or more advanced players. Best budget ligature - by far!

For the money, you really can't of wrong - plays great with the warmth and security of the fabric - but these give you the clarity and precise sound of metal too... well worth the money!

Schonung für Mundstück und Blatt

Ich habe lange Zeit die herkömmliche Blattschraube aus Metall verwendet, die bei meinem Sporansaxophon im Lieferumfang enthalten war. Nach einiger Zeit, und wahrscheinlich auch aus Unachtsamkeit, die Blattschraube immer in der exakt gleichen Stellung anzubringen, wurde das Mundstück mit Kratzern und die Blätter mit Abdrücken beschädigt.

Bei der Suche nach einer Lösung habe ich die Rovner Star Series Blattschraube entdeckt und gekauft:
Das Band und der Mechanismus der Metallschraube sind sehr stabil. Das Anbringen geschieht schneller als bei der Metall-Blattschraube. Das Blatt wird absolut gleichmaßig mit dem Mundstück verbunden, wobei die oben erwähnten Abweichungen des Aufsatzwinkels keine Rolle mehr spielen. Beschädigungen sind weder am Mundstück, noch am Blatt möglich.

Der Klang ist einwandfrei.
