Bought this item to add to my existing hand drums.

Pro:

Constructed to high standard as you would expect from Remo, finish is very good.

Very nice aqua color where you can see the wood grain through the color.

Jingles are brass - which I prefer as you get a brighter but warmer sound compared to steel jingles. Jingles are larger compared to other jingles, I like this feature.

Performs well in playing: Doum, palm slap and Tak sounds all can be done relatively easily.

Head: is a kind of polymer. Remo still make drums with natural skin heads, but also polymer/synthetic - , not an issue as riq sounds fine with this kind of skin.

Con:

Weight a bit on the heavy side, but I'll get used to this with practice.

Price a little too much? Overall it isn't as this is a signature drum (Layne Redmond) with color/features a bit different from other riqs.

This riq should give a lot of fun and service over the years.

Som excelente. É um pouco pesado, mas os tambourines (RIQ) são exigentes no manuseamento, mas é uma questão de treino. Após adaptação estou muito satisfeita.

Ein tolles Riq für jede Wetterlage!

Das Instrument mit seinem vorgestimmten Plastikfell ist absolute Spitze, denn es verändert im Gegensatz zu Riqqs mit Naturfellen seine Grundstimmung durch den Einfluss von Temperatur und Luftfeuchte kaum. Es bestehen sogar gute Aussichten damit in strömendem Regen, Gewittern und Hagelstürmen zu bestehen, solange es nicht um guten Klang oder gar Spielfreude geht.

Beides kommt beim musizieren mit diesem Pressspan- und Plastikkonstrukt mit scharfen Kannten nicht auf. Stimmbare Naturfelle, gutes Holz und Handwerksarbeit sind damit keinesfalls zu ersetzen.

Bitte kauft es euch als vorzeigbares Negativbeispiel für alle Interressierten!
