I bought this for a 6" roto tom i could use for small gigs where i can turn the roto drum + achieve different pitches for different songs. The Coated Ambassador is single-ply + has a crisp, clean, textured sound (Much like the 14" snare version) due to its coating + is a universal head for different genres of music...
