The QSC LS118 is a modular subwoofer for the QSC L Class line-array system, which is intended to combine exceptional fidelity with pro-grade output – and achieves this with a synergy of systemic processing and premium components. This intelligent subwoofer offers a peak output of 138dB SPL with powerful, articulate low‑frequency performance and is engineered as the ideal companion for the LA108 and LA112 line‑array loudspeakers. The LS118 sub is equipped with an energy‑efficient 4,000W Class D amplifier, with active power factor correction. For users seeking outstanding low‑frequency output with a transparent sonic character, this high‑performance subwoofer is an excellent choice. The precise, well‑designed control options enable optimal sound performance and help ensure the system is operated within its safe limits.

Flexible configuration

The QSC LS118 subwoofer can be used as the base for a full satellite array (mounted on an array frame), or it can support a compact vertical array either upright or on its side, as it's fitted with a two M20 pole mounts. A single LS118 can also be deployed as a standalone stage sub, with its integrated blue transport wheels aiding handling when moved. When two or more units are deployed together, they can be very quickly set to operate in a cardioid configuration, reducing rearward output by up to -15 dB: This benefits DJs and bands in particular, as it prevents them from being overwhelmed by excessive low‑frequency energy on stage. The subwoofer also supports the QSC SysNav app, which allows flexible configuration, management, and monitoring of signal processing.

Coherent integration

The QSC LS118 is easy to configure and deploy across a wide range of applications, from simple portable plug‑and‑play setups to complex, networked high‑tech AV productions. The subwoofer is equally well suited as part of fixed installations, for professional concert sound, and for users such as solo entertainers, production companies, and dry‑hire providers, with a robust build quality that should stand up to years of professional use. The Acoustic Linear Phase functionality makes it possible to coherently integrate multiple QSC loudspeaker units or entire arrays, for uniform sound across the entire venue, with daisy-chain connections enabling both digital and analogue networks. Dante connectivity ensures wireless interoperability with other audio systems.

Versatile deployment

The QSC LS118 offers versatile deployment options suited to the scale and nature of almost any event, matching up with the rest of the L Class line‑array loudspeakers. For smaller setups it can be used on its own, while in typical band configurations – in clubs or at smaller festivals – it can be paired with a second unit and positioned in the usual left/right arrangement in front of the stage. (The subwoofer can also be flown.) Its digital architecture enables internal optimisation for a wide range of scenarios, and the daisy‑chain option adds further convenience. DSP‑based phase and crossover optimisation enables the LS118 to integrate cleanly with other system components and to operate either omnidirectionally or, when paired with additional units, in a cardioid configuration for controlled bass directivity. For extremely low‑frequency applications, there's even an integrated Deep mode.

Utilisé avec les LA112, ce sub est vraiment génial ! J'adore !
Tout le système LA112 + LS118 est d'une superbe qualité. c'est un vrai bonheur.

Acheté en juin 2025, déjà utilisé déjà sur plus de 30 dates, la qualité du son de nos prestations a vraiment changé et elle s'est beaucoup améliorée.

Le son est vraiment super, le son est rond, précis.
C'est une qualité vraiment professionnelle, haut de gamme. Je suis passé par RCF, EV, Yamaha, mais ce sub sort du lot.

138db pour 50kg, c'est le meilleur rapport encombrement / puissance et qualité. Dans la même gamme, vous trouverez un sub d'une marque italienne à 137Db pour 80kg, il sont très bien aussi mais vous allez vite remplir votre camion et perdre beaucoup de temps en installation.

Les roulettes sont top, ça roule sans effort.

Il fonctionne aussi en cardioïde pour une installation standard.
Il fonctionne aussi super bien en semi aérien, si il est couplé au LA112, il envois très très loin.

Juste avec un seul seul ça déboite beaucoup. En salle c'est suffisant.
Système taillé pour de grosse prestations et fonctionne très bien aussi pour les petites.
