It's always a gamble when buying something without seeing it first but I'm very glad I opted for this.
With my old trombone I had a Protec PB 309 case which was good but quite big and clumsy and heavy so when I got a new trombone (with a massively impractical case for my needs) I decided to go for the IP.
This is a great case,it's a smaller than I expected and lighter too. There is plenty of space inside to get the trombone positioned where you want it and once it's there it quite simply does not move. The section for the slide was a tiny bit short but I was able to sort that and all is good.
There is a good amount of storage space for the usual bits and bobs that musicians need and I was pleasantly surprised at the double mouthpiece pouch included too.
Overall I think this is a great case and definitely worth the price.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.
I bought the GigBag for my Yamaha bass trombone. This fits perfectly as the interior can be designed and adapted very flexibly. Nevertheless, the trombone fits perfectly and remains fixed at the defined place. The wooden inserts provide further protection.
With the addition "Backpack", which unfortunately is not included, the GigBag can be worn well, which makes it suitable also for bike routes.
In sum a very good product, which convinces me very much.
