die rote Fläche fühlt sich ähnlich an wie ein mittelstark gespanntes Fell, zB. Snare. Sie ist relativ leise und hört sich angenehm an. Die schwarze Fläche ist wie ein wenig gespanntes Fell, zB. Floortom. Sie ist sehr leise und damit für geeignet um auch nachts zu üben. Mit dem eingebauten Rand können Rimshots gespielt werden, diese sind ebenfalls sehr leise.
