This is my general timpani mallet

I feel very comfortable with this mallet. It’s really a “low difficulty” mallet for general sound and weight - you don’t have to struggle at all to make a great sound.

bonnes baguettes MAIS PB épaisseur des manches

Les + : son clair et généreux, rond et précis. égalité entre les 2 baguettes. Utilisation polyvalente en orchestre et pour jouer des études
Les - : épaisseur des manches beaucoup trop aléatoire, empêche la continuité des sensations entre les différentes variantes de la série.
Il y a un gros problème pour ceux qui veulent utiliser plusieurs paires de la même série. J'ai les 3115, les 3211, 3213 par exemple, dont les manches font environ 10mm d'épaisseur. Ces 3113 font 13mm, ainsi que mes 3223, 3116 et 3112. En revanche mes 3221 font 11mm, mes 3212 et mes 3231 font 12mm. C'est complètement aléatoire et il n'y a aucun lien avec le poids la dureté ou la taille du noyau.
Cela engendre un inconfort important lorsqu'on passe d'une paire à l'autre. Il suffirait de préciser l'épaisseur des manches, voire même une simple approximation ("S" pour 10 à 11mm, "M" entre 11 et 12mm, puis "L" entre 12 et 13mm, par exemple).

Ces baguettes de timbales playwood sont de bonnes qualités. Le feutre est lui de très bonne qualité, en revanche la baguette en elle-même n’a pas de diamètre fixe en fonction des achats.
